BRIEFING PURPOSE:
- To examine major infrastructure projects currently underway in New York City and assess the cost and status of each project.
- To determine whether federal infrastructure investments are being used efficiently.
BRIEFING BACKGROUND:
- The Committee is tracking large-scale transportation projects to ensure they remain on budget and on schedule.
- As part of the field briefing, members of the Oversight Transportation and Public Assets Subcommittee will tour Moynihan Station, East Side Access, Second Avenue Subway, and NYC Traffic Management Center.
