Comer Condemns Putin’s Attack on Ukraine

WASHINGTON—House Committee on Oversight and Reform Ranking Member James Comer (R-Ky.) today condemned Russian President Vladimir Putin’s attack on Ukraine: 

“Americans support the people of Ukraine and condemn Putin’s aggression. His brazen, unprovoked, and lethal attacks against a sovereign nation have already cost innocent lives. The United States and NATO should meet these attacks with swift action. We must issue the strongest possible sanctions and cripple Putin’s ability to wage war. In the battle between freedom and tyranny, freedom must always win. Our prayers are with the people of Ukraine, our servicemen and women overseas, and all Americans left in Ukraine.”
